New Feature: Messages (aka Inbox)

We have released a the new Messages feature in Beta form. Its not perfect but it works and right out of the gate includes a most requested feature that was missing in the old site, that being an Outbox! Yes you can now see a record of what you have sent to other members.

We have transferred all of your old Inbox messages from the old site and where available we populated your Outbox. Unfortunately the Outbox will not be 100% representative of what you sent as records were only saved in the old system if the receiver did not delete them (no outbox). In addition the old messaging system had HTML content and the new one is plain text so you may see un-rendered HTML tags in your old messages that were transferred.

Your Contact and Ignore lists were also transferred. Regarding the Ignore List tab in Messaging this ignore list is the same as on the Bullboards and anything you do here will affect the visibility of members posts on the Bullboards.

Expect more improvements to Messages in the coming months and for now make use of Messaging by navigating to My Profile> Messages.
