Portfolio Issues Identified for Fix
TLDR; There are two defined issues affecting the transactional portfolio
- Portfolios with more than 100 symbols returning errors, and;
- Portfolios in USD are displaying incorrect market value for shares owned.
Portfolios with more than 100 symbols returning errors
Working with our data provider, we have identified an issue where users are getting and error when accessing transactional portfolios that contain over 100 symbols.
We are hopeful for a speedy resolution.
Portfolios set up in USD are displaying incorrect market value for shares owned
Simply put, the USD to CDN conversions appear to be calculated backwards. As a quick workaround to display correct dollar figures, we suggest changing the currency of your portfolio to Canadian dollars (see below)
We expect this to be resolved soon.
Workaround
To change your transactional portfolio to Canadian dollars:
Navigate to your transactional portfolio at https://stockhouse.com/portfolio
Change the currency to ‘CAD’ and choose ‘Confirm;
Now refresh your portfolio:
And the correct value will be displayed in Canadian dollars:
