If you encounter errors while logging in with any version of the Stockstream Apps please review the following notes:
Username note: You must use your email address as the username, as you do on Stockhouse.com
Password note: in some cases your password may stop working in either the Desktop or Mobile Apps. If this happens you must reset your password on Stockhouse.com as this will force a reset through all the connected systems (Stockouse.com, Stockstream Mobile and Stockstream desktop). This is a self serve process and the support teams at both Stockhouse and Quotemedia cannot reset this for you.
If you have access to your Stockhouse.com website account then you can follow this guide to change your password. This new password will sync with Stockstream and replace any prior passwords:
If you are not able to sign in to your Stockhouse.com website account and need to first recover your account, then kindly follow this guide:
Quotestream Branded App Version Note: While Stockstream is provided by and supported by Quotemedia it is important that Stockstream subscribers stick with the Stockstream branded version of the desktop and mobile app and not use Quotestream (click here to download Stockstream). This is because the Stockstream apps use a different password decryption method that is compatible with your Stockhouse account. If you were to attempt using the Quotestream or other non Stockstream branded app you will see an error. Your Stockstream login window should look something like this with the Stockstream name clearly visible:
Use the latest version of the app which can be downloaded here Desktop Application for Stockstream. if you are experiencing errors please try uninstalling what you currently have and installing a fresh copy of the recommended current version for your operating system.
